Blocking or unblocking of some website is necessary in this generation , As many parents are concerned about there children , The same problem is with some office staff also .so some officers can also used this trick to block myspace or any other website in there offices also.This trick will really helpful for parents who wants to block myspace in there home computer in order to restrict there children to surf myspace.
For Blocking any website (Like orkut,youtube,playboy,myspace,facebook) in which you dont want yours friends Family members etc to visits etc you have to follow below steps carefully.
- Click the Start button and select Run. Now type the below text in Run box:
notepad c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
- A New notepad window will open on your screen containing some Information. Just goto the last line of the file, hit the enter key and type the following:
- Save the file and exit. You are done. Now None of the above websites will open on yours computer you can block as many websites as you like using above trick.
127.0.0.1 Facebook.com
127.0.0.1 Playboy.com
127.0.0.1 Myspace.com
If you want to remove the banned website, open the same file as mentioned in 1st Step and delete the blocked website .This is a very easy and free of cost trick to block any website.

Even it didn’t work in my sys too… whether it work with internet explorer only ??.. i tried in firefox as well but landed with same result…

its not working.. as soon as the word file is opend,i made changes.
but when i try to save it..it tells file is read only,
I Think That File Is Passward Protected By Adminitrator , You can Edit This With Admin Account Only.
